Abertridwr Community Church has a prayer group which meets every Tuesday evening from 7.15 until 8.45 pm.
We have up to 20 people who come regularly to Prayer Group
We as a church we believe in prayer, we pray for lots of different things like healing, illness, we also pray for family and friends and events that we believe God will touch.
Prayer is one of the pillars of the Christian life. It is a privilege to take all our burdens, requests and praise to Almighty God in prayer.
When we pray we communicate to our Heavenly Father.
Jesus taught his disciples to pray, commonly called "the Lord’s Prayer" this is our example to follow if Jesus found the need to pray so must the Church.
The Bible says "be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God" (Phil 4.6 ) and that is what we believe.
We spend a time each evening praying for the requests which are brought.
Everyone is welcome to join whether they come to Abertridwr Community Church or any other church, even if you don’t go to any church you will find a warm welcome here.
